Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The location was convenient, close to Dublin City Centre and major attractions. However, the dining experience left much to be desired as the food was cold and lacked variety. The rooms, although small, were comfortable and clean with a good size, but the lack of a proper shower was a downside. Despite these flaws, the hotel offered good value for money given its prime location.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, though comfy and clean, was affected by ongoing renovations and noise from an outside vent. Despite these, it served well for a short city break. The service from the housekeeping staff was accommodating and friendly. The location, walking distance from the city center, was convenient. However, the dining experience, compared to other hotels, was disappointing. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were furnished to a very high standard, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with a dark color scheme. On the downside, the bathroom seemed very old and poorly maintained, plus the room temperature was too high even after requesting the heating to be turned off. Although the location was excellent, being within walking distance of major attractions, the area was not the safest at night. The service was exceptional, with staff being incredibly helpful and considerate. Despite these positives, the dining experience was disappointing with timing issues and poor quality. Overall, the hotel offers value for money with its clean and comfortable rooms but falls short in dining and room maintenance aspects.
The hotel had a mixed experience for me. The rooms were like a 5-star hotel at times, but the constant noise from the nearby pedestrian crossing was a real downside. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond, yet the dining options were not as extensive as I would have liked.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had some drawbacks such as pigeons cooing on the ledge, motor sounds outside, and a stale smoke smell, which was quite different from the photos. However, the staff was lovely and very helpful, offering us an early check-in. The location was excellent for business and leisure, with close proximity to key attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with limited food options but convenient proximity to eateries.
The hotel was very spacious and nice for the price, with nice toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels. The rooms were ready even though I checked in early, which was great given it's the middle of December. However, the smoking area right in front of the main entrance was not ideal as I had to walk through people's smoke to get in.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view at no extra cost. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond for special occasions. The location was convenient, close to the city center and various attractions. The dining experience was mixed, with some great options but some items running out quickly. Overall, a good value for the money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room I initially had had issues with the TV not working, but the staff promptly moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the construction noise from across the side street kept me up for two nights. On the bright side, the new room was spacious, modern, and had a fantastic bathroom. However, the cold breakfast was subpar, especially the bread.
The hotel is conveniently located at the top of O'Connell Street, making it easy to access the main area and close to where I often have meetings. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help me out in unexpected circumstances. While the rooms were a bit worn with some stains and lacking certain amenities, the service and location truly made up for it. The dining experience was decent but could use some improvement, although the buffet option was a plus. Overall, a good value for the money considering the excellent service and location.
The hotel room was really nice, but unfortunately, it was way too hot with no ventilation. Not being able to open the window for a bit of fresh air as it was nailed shut meant we had to sit in our room with the door open, so no real privacy. The size of the room was amazing, super big, and it overlooked a side street with massive construction work going on across it.
My room was excellent, including a refrigerator, and I even got a great view at no extra cost. The only downside was the loud noise from a ducting source outside the hotel, which meant I couldn't leave the window open at night.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its older, unrenovated room being surprisingly comfortable, although it was a bit too warm even after adjusting the thermostat. I inquired about a possible upgrade at reception.
The hotel had a nice room for most of our stay, but it would have been perfect to have the same size for the last night. The location is very central but might not be the safest for walking alone at night. The staff were helpful and kind during all interactions, though there were some minor lapses in service. The dining was pleasant, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel rooms were spotless, spacious, and had good amenities with friendly, polite staff. They were comfortable, with enough space and sufficient power outlets, which I really appreciated. The hotel is clean, comfy, but the dining experience might not meet all expectations.
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The rooms were quiet and generally comfortable, and I liked the unique separate toilet to shower setup, although it was a bit cold due to the old window frames letting in drafts. The service was excellent, with lovely and accommodating staff. The location was perfect, just a short walk from many attractions but still peaceful at night. The dining experience was not as expected, and the facilities were satisfactory overall.
