Belvedere Hotel, Dublin City Centre – Hotel near airport in Dublin

The hotel was very spacious and nice for the price, with nice toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels. The rooms were ready even though I checked in early, which was great given it's the middle of December. However, the smoking area right in front of the main entrance was not ideal as I had to walk through people's smoke to get in.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view at no extra cost. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond for special occasions. The location was convenient, close to the city center and various attractions. The dining experience was mixed, with some great options but some items running out quickly. Overall, a good value for the money.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room I initially had had issues with the TV not working, but the staff promptly moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the construction noise from across the side street kept me up for two nights. On the bright side, the new room was spacious, modern, and had a fantastic bathroom. However, the cold breakfast was subpar, especially the bread.

The hotel is conveniently located at the top of O'Connell Street, making it easy to access the main area and close to where I often have meetings. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help me out in unexpected circumstances. While the rooms were a bit worn with some stains and lacking certain amenities, the service and location truly made up for it. The dining experience was decent but could use some improvement, although the buffet option was a plus. Overall, a good value for the money considering the excellent service and location.

The hotel room was really nice, but unfortunately, it was way too hot with no ventilation. Not being able to open the window for a bit of fresh air as it was nailed shut meant we had to sit in our room with the door open, so no real privacy. The size of the room was amazing, super big, and it overlooked a side street with massive construction work going on across it.

My room was excellent, including a refrigerator, and I even got a great view at no extra cost. The only downside was the loud noise from a ducting source outside the hotel, which meant I couldn't leave the window open at night.

The hotel exceeded my expectations with its older, unrenovated room being surprisingly comfortable, although it was a bit too warm even after adjusting the thermostat. I inquired about a possible upgrade at reception.

The hotel had a nice room for most of our stay, but it would have been perfect to have the same size for the last night. The location is very central but might not be the safest for walking alone at night. The staff were helpful and kind during all interactions, though there were some minor lapses in service. The dining was pleasant, and the facilities were satisfactory.
